Just Keep ...
March 15, 2020
There's a Stillness ... a new rhythm to our lives. One that is letting us savor the little things; homemade food tastes even more delicious, the weather seems more beautiful, a chat from a friend is more meaningful and family time and conversations are more significant.
Small events like: watering the garden, starting a new book, taking a nap, playing a game or watching a movie suddenly appear more enjoyable. Every hug, word of encouragement or message taken with more love.
So, my advice ... "Just keep swimming", like Dory. Keep taking care of yourself and your loved ones. Keep taking one day at a time. Keep focusing on the good. Keep being grateful for all the blessings. Keep doing your part to help the whole. Keep savoring the small gifts each day brings.
We are facing BIG changes; from having everybody study and work from home, to not being able to do things outside our home we were used to doing AND trying to stay calm in the midst of all of this uncertainty.
In a matter of days, we have had to make changes on a personal and professional level. Personally, I love having everybody at home and the 'togetherness', as a friend of mine calls it.
In my work, I believe my business is here to help others. So, I have decided to continue accepting orders for the Mindfulness Toolkit. Last time, I was talking about 'coincidences' and, in my eyes, this Toolkit and current events fit together perfectly.
Also, I have created 3o-minute online sessions for parents to talk, plan and feel supported during these times of change. I will try and be available through chats, emails and Instagram to take orders and set-up calls ... or if you only want to reach out and say hi :)
So today, I send a big virtual hug to all of you amazing, resourceful and dedicated parents ... who keep it together, support their families, take care of their loved ones, stay calm for everyone, go the extra mile...
Keep doing what you're doing, you're doing great!
